The Company:
a Major Oil & Gas operator is seeking a Project Quality Manager to join a Major Capital LNG project.

The Role:
• Leads, coaches, trains and promotes development of the greater plant project team understanding of project expectations for deliverables quality in all functional areas and disciplines.
• Sources and manages project quality personnel; Supplier Quality Coordinators, Project Quality Engineers, Quality Representatives, Site QA/QC Personnel, etc.
• Provides development and training so that quality personnel have the proper credentials and qualifications to meet project needs.
• Through application of Company standard quality processes and tools; develops, maintains, and leads the execution of the Project Quality Management Plan for the project, and manages the development and maintenance of any supporting plans, procedures, forms, etc.
• Responsible for facilitating the development and effective implementation of the Project Quality Management System by the project team, contractors, and suppliers.
• Proactively participates in the generation, review, verification and implementation of contractor quality plans.
• Manages project quality support functions including quality planning, budgets, quality system training, preventive action, non-conformance control, corrective action, audits, continuous improvement (including lessons learned), and project quality reporting & review.
• Manages, plans, and conducts assessments and audits of the contractors, their subcontractors, and major critical suppliers. Working closely with the project leadership team, the position stewards assessments, audit findings, and recommended corrective actions to resolution and closure.
• Addresses daily QA/QC issues and reports key findings to management.
• Manages project service and product verification and inspection of the project deliverables on behalf of the owner that are consistent with criticality assessments, and contractual / regulatory obligations.
• Leads capability assessment visits to manufacturing and fabrication locations to qualify suppliers for equipment and materials.
• May coordinate equipment failure investigations / Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and conduct Corrective Action verification as required.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
BS degree in Engineering or equivalent, Materials Science or related field.

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Minimum of ten (10) years of direct experience in Quality Management System activities of which five (5) years must be in managing quality systems relating to the contract's scope of work for oil, gas, and/or LNG projects.
