The Company:
A major oil and gas operator is looking for a Project Quality Manager to work on a World Scale Project

The Role:
Thorough application of Company standard Quality processes and tools; develop, maintain, and lead the execution of the Project Quality Management Plan for assigned project, and manage the development and maintenance of any supporting plans, procedures, forms, etc. • Responsible for facilitating the development and effective implementation of the Project Quality Management System by the project team, contractors, and suppliers. • Manage project service and product verification and inspection of the project deliverables consistent with criticality assessments, and contractual and regulatory obligations. • Manage project quality support functions including quality planning, preventive action, non-conformance control, corrective action, management of change, audits, continuous improvement , and project quality reporting and review. • Lead effort for staffing Project Quality personnel • Provides guidance to Project Management on quality related issues • Provide managerial direction and guidance to the Sub-Project Quality Managers, Project Quality Engineers, Site Quality personnel, Inspection Coordinators, etc. • May coordinate equipment failure investigations / Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and conduct Corrective Action verification as required.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
BS degree in engineering or equivalent
Minimum of ten (15) years of direct experience in Quality Management System activities of which five (5) years must be in managing quality systems relating to the contract's scope of work e.g. oil, gas and/or petrochemical projects

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Candidate must have the following qualifications - Leads, coaches, trains and promotes development of greater project team understanding of project expectations for deliverables quality in all functional areas and disciplines. - Sources and manages Company quality personnel; Site QA/QC Coordinators, Project Quality Engineers, Supplier Quality Coordinators, QC personnel, etc. - Provides development and training so that QA/QC personnel have the proper credentials and qualifications to meet project needs. - Manages project quality support functions including quality planning, quality system training, preventive action, non-conformance control, corrective action, audits, continuous improvement (including Lessons Learned), and project quality reporting & review. - Manages, plans, and conducts assessments and audits of the contractors, subcontractors and critical suppliers.
