The Company:
Our Client is an International Oil and Gas Operator involved in 2 of Australia's largest LNG Projects based in Western Australia.

The Role:
Our Client is looking for a project reporting engineer to join their busy team in Perth on a 12 month contract.

Duties will include but not be limited to:

Safety Commit to and champion the development and implementation of a safe working environment for everyone on the project and the continuing establishment world class safety culture by:
• Being aware of Statutory Health, Safety & Environmental Regulations.
• Ensuring that workplaces are safe and duties are carried out in a safe manner.
• Actively promoting, identifying, and reporting workplace hazards & completing
• Hazard / Near Miss Reports.

General Accountabilities:
• Quality Assurance – Responsible for working within the provisions and guidelines of the Quality Assurance system.
• Ensure through good time and work management practices that activities are completed efficiently and with minimal re-work.
• Develop and maintain effective working relationships with team members and other stakeholders.
• Ensure that supervisor is kept informed of personal training requirements. Main Accountabilities and Responsibilities:
• Work with the Project Controls Team to provide assurance that sub-contractors reported progress are verified;
• Sits in and participates in the weekly delivery team meetings to evaluate and provide business support assistance to the delivery teams;
• Take ownership of Downstream Infrastructure and Construction Reporting Functions and ensure that all reports (daily, weekly and monthly) meet owner’s expectations.
• Act as a focal point between D/S Infrastructure and Construction Execution team and Project Controls for all reporting activities.
• Conduct/organise reviews on various reports and provide consolidated feedback.
• Conduct/organise reviews on Cost & Progress presentation packs and provide consolidated feedback.
• Work with D/S Infrastructure and Construction Execution to refine owner’s expectations during different phases of Project Life Cycle and ensure deployment.
• Interrogate infrastructure and construction cost and progress information and data and work with respective Project Managers on the outcome of such;
• Prepare executive summaries, conduct analysis and prepare charts as required.
• Own and maintain reporting calendar. Ensure that reports are delivered on time with agreed content.
• Work with EPCm contractor to implement, ensure and improve reporting requirements from Vendors/Suppliers.
• Work with Central Group and provide necessary D/S inputs for various reports.
• Assist with preparation of various slide packs for Downstream Manager, Perth.
• Assist with Quarterly review and presentation of outcome to Leadership Team.
• Work with Downstream Project Management Office team to develop and monitor the staffing plans and organisation charts for D/S Owner’s Team.
• Complete other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• A Bachelor’s degree is required
• Good understanding of Project Management Principles and Processes.
• Experience in report writing, editing and formatting.
• High-level of attention to detail, excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong technical and analytical skills.
• Sound knowledge of Project Controls principles (including Cost and Schedule), and their interface with Engineering, Contracts & Procurement Changes.
• Extensive experience during execution phase with Oil and Gas Projects.
