Our client is a leading global oil and gas operating company.

The Role:
The Project Services Integration position is responsible for integrating the people, processes and tools needed to perform the key project services support within a project associated with risk management, knowledge management and change management for the portfolio of projects in the Appraisal Team. There are 4 key program areas in the Appraisal Organization: 1) Well Pads, 2) Power, Gas, and Infrastructure, 3) Water and Production Facility, and 4) Facility Planning. The Project Services Integration Role is responsible to the Appraisal Development Managers and the Appraisal General Manager for project/program/portfolio information regarding risk, knowledge management, and change management in support of delivering the project against performance targets.

This position supports the Risk Champions and Development Engineers of the Appraisal Teams, in their development of quality risk and knowledge management plans. It is accountable for ensuring the Project Teams understand and employ the common tools and processes under the guidance of the Central Project Services and Assurance Teams.

Organizationally this position reports directly to the Project Services Lead. The Project Services Integration Role is accountable for delivering project services support on a specific project or program and will take direction for those deliverables from the specific Development Engineers/Managers. Performance feedback for this position will also be from the Development Engineers/Managers via the Project Services Lead.

Key Accountabilities:
• Ensure common tools and processes for risk and knowledge management are understood and are employed by the Appraisal Organization and associated engineering contractors to support delivery of the projects and compliant with the AK Projects Handbook and Developments Common Processes.
• Work closely with Central Project Services and Assurance Teams to understand overall direction and ensure alignment within the Appraisal Organization. Recommend continuous improvement opportunities as identified.
• Coach the Risk Champions and Development Engineers in the project / program teams to improve their understanding and application of the risk management tools and processes, knowledge management tools and processes, and change management tools and processes.
• Work with Appraisal Project Services Team to help ensure project services products are well integrated: cost, schedule, risk, and knowledge management. Ensure linkages into Appraisal Plans and Project Execution Plans.
• Work with Project Teams to improve quality, integration and linkages of project deliverables.
• Provide Development Managers and AGM with monthly reports with pre-agreed KPI’s for performance management to measure ongoing performance in this area.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assist the PS Team Lead to Coordinate and/or lead training for personnel assigned to function-specific support roles, and provide an appropriate level of training, coaching, and communication for key project leaders, technical authorities, function leads, embedded operations resource, contractor/vendor teams, and other personnel or stakeholders as appropriate.
• Assist the PS Team Lead to educate and energize project teams about the value of the four integrated project services processes: cost, schedule, risk management, and knowledge management.
• Assist the PS Team Lead to work with Development Engineers and Managers to assure programs and projects are following the standards, requirements, and guidelines defined in the AK Projects Handbook, CVP requirements, and the Global Projects Organization.
• Assist the PS Team Lead to conduct regularly scheduled reviews with Development Engineers and Managers to review project compliance against standards and baselines, and execute activities to address gaps as needed.
• Network with the other Project Services Integration Roles and Leads to share knowledge and indentify continuous improvement opportunities.
• Promote effective communications and interfaces between Company, EPMS Contractors, project team functions, and other personnel and stakeholders; identify and communicate interface gaps that are beyond the scope of the four functions.
• Support the Projects Organization Assurance Team with program and project assurance activities, as needed.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Essential Criteria:
Strong written, interpersonal and computer skills. Must be a self starter and have the ability to integrate well with project teams and lead efforts with Company staff and contractor staff with focus on risk and knowledge management, integration and quality of plans, cost, and schedule. Must have previous experience in working on a project team and demonstrated understanding of risk management and knowledge management practices.

Experience with Excel, Word and PowerPoint is needed.

Education:
Four year college degree preferred or proven experience equivalent.

Years of Experience:
5 to 8 yrs of project experience

Languages:
English fluency required.

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Desired Criteria:
Involvement in all major components of a project (ie engineering, procurement, fabrication/construction and startup). Experience in a project management and/or leadership role in a project a plus. Experience in interfacing with engineering contractors is also desirable.
