Project Site SHE Lead

The Role:
• Align SHE/Regulatory goals between Iraq SHE teams based in Basra, Dubai, Houston
• Audit and assess contractors’ SHE management systems and plans
• Champion HURT Approach, Leading Safety to Zero (LS20), BBS for the Project
• Lead interface with Production affiliate SHE team
• Coach integrated Site EMDC/EPC SHE Team to ensure effectiveness of systems and programs
• Leverage EMDC Functional SHE resources
• Apply SHE lessons learned from recent incidents with regional contractors
• Steward development of SSHE reports utilized by the Project, Function, and EMDC

• Promote SHE awareness and performance among Project Team
• Facilitate scheduled SHE meetings including:
 Weekly Site SHE Meeting
 Monthly Contractor Safety Committee Meeting
 Monthly Venture Project Safety Leadership Team Meeting (VPSLT)
 Annual Contractor Safety Forum

• Stewardship of TapRoot/Root Cause Analysis results with respect to lagging indicator management
• Stewardship of regulatory/permitting requirements for the Project, including garnering permits & approvals from government of Iraq (via WQ1FOD interface)

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Capable of facilitating efforts to resolve interface issues and coordinate multiparty SHE objectives
• High level of construction knowledge, skill and experience, including regulatory/permitting
• 5-10 years of experience in implementing SHE Management systems

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
• Engineering degree preferred, but not required
