The Company:
Our Client appears in the FTSE 100 index and is an international energy services company specializing in Oil and Gas and has annual revenues of over £2.6 billion. They believe that it is the people that drive their success, from Project Managers, Project Engineers, consultants to designers and commercial personnel. They work globally employing over 20,000 people on major operations including the UK

The Role:
• Raise Requisitions and Purchase Orders in accordance with SC processes.
• Expedite all purchases and provide delivery schedules to the project manager / planner.
• Maintain relevant procurement data within Visaer (promised dates, Open PO’s).
• Load Visaer with part details and Work Orders in order to fully capture costs.
• Ensure all project costs are assigned to agreed and approved cost codes and work orders.
• Provide weekly cost reports as directed by the Project Manager.
• Carry out all logistics administrative tasks including liaising with freight forwarders, couriers, suppliers and internal customers in order to make sure that all shipments are picked up and despatched within the shortest timeframe and lowest cost possible.
• Ensure that all relevant shipping documentation is present and correct and co-ordinate customs clearances and record keeping in line with client and HMRC procedures to support the supply chain manger in HMRC declarations
• Ensure sub-contract vendors are issued with latest issue of Drawings, Specifications and QC documents.
• Issue sub-contract vendors with Confidentiality Agreements, Technical and Quality Audit Questionnaires and coordinate responses with Supply Chain/Legal.
• Co-ordinate and assist in the resolution of vendor non-conformances (NCR’s)
• Work in conjunction with the Finance department to clear invoice queries promptly.
• Assist the Supply Chain Manager to monitor, analyse and report on key Supply Chain metrics (QCDR)

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Previous relevant procurement experience, within a technical environment
• Previous international logistics experience including HMRC related activities
• Computer literacy
• Proven good customer interface skills – both internally and externally
• Ability to effectively plan and prioritise
• Ability to deal with conflicting demands
• Details focussed
• Previous exposure to Oil & Gas Service industry beneficial but not essential.
• Accepts accountability and ownership.
• Pro-active and motivated team player and excellent communicator.
• Adept at working in cross functional and cross-business teams.
• Willingness and ability to suggest new ideas and process improvements.
• On time project administration to planned schedules
• HNC Project Administration or equivalent desirable
• Experience in a a supply chain function within a service industry.
• Experience working in a multi-disciplined global team in a service environment highly desirable.
