The Role:
The company
The Client is an international market leader in ultra-high definition (16xHD) aerial video surveying and
image analysis.
Our unrivalled expertise extends from mission design and data gathering to subsequent data analysis and reporting.
Our unique use of moving images provides a substantially enhanced survey capability over conventional digital still systems.
Current clients include infrastructure developers, environmental planners and scientific research organisations.
Since 2008, we have been the leading supplier of aerial ornithology and marine mammal surveys to the UK offshore renewable industry.
Our expert assessment of complex spatial data requires detailed time sensitive processes that result inquantitate reports and advice.
Main Role
This role will site an enthusiastic individual with strong IT skills and a desire to be involved in programming using MatLab. You will be required to work with complex spatial data and assist in the interpretation of results, with this in mind a good grounding (A level) in Maths is vital.
An element of project reporting is also a fundamental element of the position, so applicants should be comfortable with written English.
To deliver projects to time cost and quality.
To provide IT support to the data review / ID teams
To process survey data as required
Task Details
Producing project work including:
Implementing the requirements of the project as described by the Project Manager and
project plan
Conducting all work to the specification of the quality system.
Management of straightforward projects carried out by self.
Manage tasks to budget and programme
Produce accurate geospatial data, maps and reports
Liaise with HiDef team to ensure project milestones are achieved
Provision of IT support for Review / ID teams to include:
Ad-hoc support / resolution for computer issues
Liaison with IT manager where necessary to solve IT problems
Processing of survey data as required; including splitting / copying / data distribution and archiving.
Preparation and interpretation of data and IT for R&D development
