The Company:
Our Client is a Global Operator in the Oil and Gas Industry.

The Role:
Key objectives of the role
• Manage the environmental impact assessment process for development projects as required.
• Responsible for the timely preparation and submission of all environmental consents and approvals to the relevant authorities, as required for all development projects including pipelines, drilling and construction activities.
• Ensure that all work activities comply with the company management systems and procedures.

Main Responsibilities
• Work closely with the projects QHSE Manager in advising on environmental matters for all development projects.
• Ensure relevant environmental impact assessments are undertaken timely and successfully.
• Work closely with the projects team, drilling and constrction teams to prepare all on and offshore envionrmental consents and approval required by the relevant authorities and ensure that statutory notifications are made.
• Manage the offshore environmental consents, approvals and returns as required. Inc. PON’s, OPEP’s, OPPC permits, EEMS, PWA, Etc. to allow the timely execution of the development projects.
• Be actively involved and coordinate contact with the relevant statutory authorities
• Respond to the environmental aspect of different phases of the project.
• Liaise closely with the QHSE Manager to ensure he/she is aware of progress and issues on the project.
• Manage environmental commitments internally and externally throughout the project lifecycle.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Required knowledge:
• Managing the environmental elements of offshore O&G projects.
• Understanding of the environmental aspects of onshore plant construction (preferred)
• Good written and presentation communication skills
• Basic computer skills (word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Exprience
• 5+ Years in an environmental advisor consultant role within the UK offshore O&G industry
• Experience interfacing with government bodies
• Working alongside teams of engineers
• Strong knowledge of environmental aspects of offshore O&G projects and onshore constrction inc. Pipeline arrival facilities (Preferred)
