The Company:
Our client is a Multinational Chemical company which will construct, own and operate a world-scale integrated chemicals complex in Saudi Arabia. Once completed, the complex will represent the largest petrochemical facility ever built in a single phase. Our client will establish a world-scale manufacturing footprint that delivers a full range of value-added, performance products destined for the emerging markets of Asia Pacific, the Middle East, Eastern Europe and Africa.

The Role:
To develop programme plan for set-up of PC-SS and service launches, including deployment of PMO tools to monitor the progress of overall programme. To track and communicate progress with internal and external partners, measure the successful delivery of planned initiatives and design appropriate governance structures to oversee implementation of plan and its delivery.

1. Design overall plan to set up PC-SS services and functions, working closely with PC-SS Head to capture phased rollout from initial resourcing to service launches
2. Identify and chart dependencies between initiatives and all key milestones
3. Develop and deploy tools to track project management and adherence to plan, including timelines, checklists, progression reports etc.
4. Define and implement governance framework to ensure appropriate oversight and checks against project plan
5. Identify key metrics and methodologies to track project progress and successes and communicate these regularly to all key stakeholders
6. Establish clear channels of communication with management and internal and external service teams to ensure full transparency of project progress
7. Produce regular reports tailored to each division / level to communicate past and current progress and set expectations for next steps
8. Monitor risks to project delivery and facilitate fast issue-resolution by maintaining full log of issues, delays and risks
9. Develop and maintain consistency in communications with key stakeholders to set high standards of professional engagement
10. Communicate and monitor adherence to agreed processes, ensuring that unplanned deviation from processes is identified and raised as project risk
11. Oversee the operation of a PMO team and ensure roles and responsibilities are clearly defined
12. Ensure staff have requisite training in communication techniques, IT and comply with the need for timely activity in order to perform their tasks
