The Company:
Our client is a leading oil and gas service company.

The Role:
Included, but not limited to:

Proactively expediting critical Project Materials and Equipment for timely delivery to final destination to meet demanding Project scheduled need dates. Requires superior communication skills to coordinate material shipment activities between Buyers, Suppliers, Manufacturers, Transportation Carriers, Warehouse, Inventory Control, Project Managers, Project Planners, and Project Material Coordinators. This position will serve as the single point of contact for expediting and reporting delivery status on all Project materials for the Company and its various locations. This position will also backfill for individual Project Buyers on vacation and must have Construction Project Experience.

This position will be located in Anchorage, but may require travel to Fairbanks and Valdez.

Specific duties include:
* Must provide excellent customer service and follow through with all clients requesting the expediting of materials.
* Must be knowledgeable and experienced with purchasing and expediting "Oil Pipeline related Project Materials".
* Ability to learn and apply requirements of "Purchasing and Materials Processes" in order to follow proper procedures.
* Must be computer literate and proficient in Windows, MS Office, MS Excel and standard database reporting.
* Must be knowledgeable with all forms of Inter-Modal Tranpsortation Carriers (surface, rail, sea, air) to and from Alaska.
* Must have excellent problem solving skills, able to multitask, with an excellent attendance that can work in a fast paced, demanding environment with critical deadlines and constantly changing requirements.

Position may be considered to participate on the Incident Command Team (ICS) in support of materials purchasing, transportation and logistics.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
* 5-7 years logistics experience with Inter-Modal Transportation Carriers to the state of Alaska.
* 5-7 years combined Supply Chain Management (SCM) experience in Purchasing, Material Coordinator, Material Expeditor, Sales, Warehouse or Inventory Control Fields.
* 5-7 years knowledge of Federal, State, Local regulatory requirements for operation in the oil and gas business environment.
* 5-7 years Purchase Order expediting experience including Expediting Report development and management.
* 5-7 years experience using an online Materials and Procurement Computer System.
* 5-7 years experience with Windows and MS Office Suites, including Excel Spreadsheet management.

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
* 5-7 years of Business Objects Reporting and passport purchase order expediting experience.
* 5-7 years experience with Company's business process, AMS-013 Procurement and Materials, including Purchasing subprocedures.
* 5-7 years experience with the Incident Command System (ICS).
* 5-7 years of expience with inventory control and warehouse experience.
