The Company:
Our client is well established international Engineering company with number of offices in Poland and internationally. They are looking for Proposal Manager/Tender/Sales Manager to assist in their current growth in Poland.

The Role:
REPORTS TO:

Operationally: Functional Manager – Tendering
Line Manager – Sales Manager

FUNCTION

To manage the proposal team and elaborate a competitive tender.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The duty of the Proposal Manager includes
• To manage the proposal team and elaborate a competitive tender based on the request for quotation (RFQ) and inline with the Sales manager sales price target.
• To analyse the RFQ and elaborate a business concept including sourcing and industrial scheme, together with Sales.
• To manage the SalesForce in co-operation with Sales.
• To follow up the tender with the client and internally with the proposal team with the objective of securing the contract together with Sales.
• After contract signing hand over the project to Project Execution
• Follow and propose improvements to the working processes and tools within Tendering

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
PREFERRED EDUCATION

Education: Preferably a M. SC. in Engineering.


Experience:

- 5 + years experience in the APC or Plant Engineering industry
- Experience in technical tendering & bid preparation under Polish Public Procurement Law
- Experience in presenting technical offer to the Customer

Knowledge:

Must have solid knowledge of ECS products and polish market. General knowledge of power plant operation and generating industry. Knowledge of common issues/problems/challanges orrucing in proposals under Public Procurement Law.

Skills: Project management skills. Good presentation skills. Fluent in both Polish and English. Coordinating a tendering team.

Ability: Communication and Team building ability. Ability to understand customer demands and preferences and translate into a proposal, ability to participate in technical negotiations and support Sales Manager.
