The Role:
We are currently in need of a PSCM Category Lead to work with a major oil and gas operator in Iraq on a rotational basis. The position will be on a 4 weeks on, 4 weeks off rotation. The ideal candidate will have around 10-15 years experience in a similar role. Prior experience in region will also be advantageous.

Key Accountabilities;

 Champions HSE through PSCM and with all Contractors, both local and International
 Supports the Rumaila Projects PSCM Manager in providing coaching and mentoring to the Basra based team, ensuring that all enabling tools required for delivery are available, including On the Job Training
 Creates and enables stakeholder relationships in line with Rumaila values
 Supports the facilitation of meetings and other communication requirements between the Rumaila Projects Stakeholders and PSCM Team
 Supports and facilitates communication between Basra & London based teams
 Supports the development of PSCM strategies and demand plans for Rumaila Projects, including both existing and new projects, whilst ensuring they are well planned and competitive
 Supports the implementation of project specific PSCM strategies and plans to deliver achievement of business goals and capable
of delivering maximum value to Rumaila
 Delivers Supplier Management across all Categories to provide contractor oversight and risk management mitigations
 Applies Category Management processes and tools across all assigned Categories to improve overall business performance.
 Delivers robust cost management and planning to minimise business risk and maximises opportunities through PSCM activities.
 Utilises PSCM best practice to mitigate external supply risks from supplier selection through to contract execution and management.
 Applies and champions aggregation opportunities and contributes to continuous improvement and lessons learned forums

Criteria & Qualifications;

 Degree qualified or equivalent preferred as well as relevant Oil & Gas industry experience
 CIPS qualified
 Sourcing & tendering experience as well as negotiations and contracts
 Experience of coaching, mentoring and developing staff
 Experience of developing cradle to grave sourcing plans and associated Contracts
 Experience in managing supplier relationships
 Strong communication, listening and influencing skills
 Experience of working in a Multi-cultural environment
 Strong applied knowledge of MS Office products i.e. Word, PowerPoint, Access & Excel.
 Strong applied knowledge of using of e-sourcing tools e.g. ARIBA, MAXIMO & ISNetworld
 Team player as well as working under own initiative
