The role reports to the PSCM Category Manager Subsea Production Systems (SPS) and is accountable for global category management responsibilities in support of deliverables within the Global Subsea Hardware (GSH) remit, including SPS kit and aftermarket scopes. The role will engage in PSCM activity at global / central level (demand planning, category strategy, strategic sourcing and supplier management) as well as provide guidance and support to deployed PSCM teams to deliver business value in compliance with internal / external governance requirements, and to reduce operational risk through efficient and effective delivery of demand plans in support of Projects, Wells and Operations.

Support development of Contracting Procurement Plans and Category Management Plan that reflect full SPS scope across THE CLIENT regions.

Support development, execution and implementation of Global Category Strategy for SPS across Upstream segment (GPO, GWO and GOO).

Contribute to development and implementation of Global Framework Agreements in alignment with THE CLIENT model contracts, liaising with functional team members as needed (i.e. Contract Compliance, Legal, HSSE, Quality, Engineering, Delivery, etc.). Conduct global sourcing event with key SPS major suppliers including: preparation of bid package, receipt and evaluation of proposals, preparation and execution of negotiations, and contract award.

Participate in development of Contracting & Procurement strategies in support of regional PSCM activity, ensuring that opportunities to standardize and apply lessons learned are shared across regions / projects.

Liaise with GSH Operations Managers, Functional Managers/Leads and PSCM Delivery Leads, providing guidance and frameworks to execute robust sourcing activity, including development of bid packages, evaluation criteria / methodology, negotiation plans, generate award recommendations and ensure compliance with local & global governance requirements.

Conduct or support (as needed) contract negotiations and ensure alignment to Global or Regional Agreements (Call Offs), maximizing utilization of THE CLIENT’s standard contract terms and conditions.

Support establishment and the Supplier Management (SM) process in alignment with CMcp, including preparation of supplier performance data (KPI’s) input and other materials as required, to conduct Strategic Business Reviews (SBRs), Performance Review Meetings (PRMs) and other SM activities with SPS suppliers.

Collaborate with MI team and contribute to develop and maintain global and regional market intelligence relevant to SPS category, inclusive of benchmarking and cost modeling.

Work closely with the SQM Lead to ensure development and maintenance of the AVL for SPS suppliers on a global basis.

Assure compliance with Anti-Bribery and Corruption in supplier qualification, contracting and supplier management in collaboration with the CDD central team. Support execution of commercial & ABC audit plans for SPS suppliers.

Support Backbone implementation at both global and regional levels.
University degree in Engineering, Procurement or other technical discipline.

5 – 10 years Oil & Gas PSCM experience, preferably in subsea systems

Major Project experience and track record of delivery. Good project management skills.

Demonstrated ability to collaborate with internal stakeholders across multiple disciplines, cultures and geographies, across THE CLIENT and with suppliers

Demonstrated ability in contracting, sourcing, market analysis, negotiations and supplier management.

Knowledge of systems necessary to enable PSCM transactions. The systems likely will include some or all of the following; Ariba, Backbone, SAP and the MS software suite, SharePoint, Access, etc

International / MOW experience.

Professional PSCM qualification (MCIPS) or equivalent.

Previous work experience in Oil & Gas across multiple market sectors.
