The Role:
•Ensure personal safety is observed at all times and all work is performed within the framework of the Code of Conduct, Compliance & Ethics and HSSE Policies.

•Utilise and embed standard PSCM Common Process, PSCM systems and tools (including Maximo, Ariba and ProCon), Market Intelligence and Performance Management processes.

•Ensure compliance with GPO contracting governance procedure and PSA requirements.

•Implement contract strategies to optimise major areas of third party spend in accordance with Category Management framework.

•Work closely with Supplier Quality Management to reduce the cost of poor quality contract execution scope.

•Analyse demand and supply profiles and establish appropriate relationships with key suppliers.

•Preparation and execution of contract strategies, including tender preparation, evaluation, negotiation and award. Timely preparation of commercial and contractual documentation and co-ordination of all other documentation and matters affecting bids and contracts.

•Develop award recommendations papers and support the internal and external contract approvals processes.

•Execute Contract and Supplier management activities, including review and approval of variations and contract amendments, assess contractor claims, etc. Manage supplier performance review process.

•Liase with project services to ensure supplier plans and internal cost forecasts are accurate

•Update project contract and procurement plan

•Work with GPO and suppliers' personnel to ensure that contract goals and objectives are met.

•Identify and mitigate key supplier risks

•Attend various internal/external coordination meetings.

•Ensure lessons learnt from ongoing activities and past experience are captured and disseminated in an efficient and effective manner.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Experience in Oil and Gas (or similar industry) PSCM position.

Projects background with track record of delivery.

Degree in Business or Technical discipline.

Track record of contract management
