The Company:
A major Operator is looking for a PTF Instrumentation Lead in order to work on an Offshore Project

The Role:
After two months based in Europe (mainly Paris/France and 2 weeks in Stavanger/Norway), the PTF Instrumentation Lead will join the Platform - Topsides engineering team of the project in Geoje.

He/She will subordinate a Field Instrumentation Engineer and reports to the Field Engineering Leader in order to assist him in the supervision of the engineering activities performed by the Contractor for Instrument Engineering.

Her/His activities are:

- Comment on time, CONTRACTOR (consortium between Samsung Heavy Industries (SHI) & Technip) engineering deliverable and make sure that CONTRACT requirements will be met.
- Expedite the CONTRACTOR to issue engineering deliverables with the right quality level and as per the approved MDR.
- Assess and review on regular basis the progress of the CONTRACTOR’s engineering deliverable by reviewing the MDRS for his discipline. Alert his hierarchy in case of CONTRACTOR under performance.
- Review and comment of documents that have been assigned to him and assist engineers in technical problem solving at all stage of work.
- Review and propose response to TQ, NCR and COR for project management approval.
- Perform regular visit at the WORKSITE. Inform field engineering leader of any concerns that might jeopardize the quality, the cost or the project schedule.
- Provide support to the construction team in development and resolution of technical findings.
- Assist preparation of Pre-commissioning/Commissioning activities
- Witness critical instrumentation Pre-commissioning and Commissioning activities if required
- Provide support to the commissioning team in development and resolution of technical findings.
- Manage punch-list (from reviews or meetings) clearance that he has been assigned.
- Ensure his work is performed is consistent with other disciplines.
- Liaise and keep DEV/TEC ML contact point updated on ongoing work and major issues faced. Seek for technical resolutions in compliance with projects constraints.
- Organize for his discipline weekly coordination meetings with the CONTRACTOR.
- Report weekly activities performed and attend to coordination meetings

He/She will adhere to and effectively communicate Project HSE Policies

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Chartered Instrument engineer with min 8 to 10 years experience with instrumentation engineering follow-up within oil and gas project.

English fluent.
