The Company:
Our Client is an International Oil and Gas Operator involved in 2 of Australia's largest LNG Projects based in Western Australia. The Role:
A new role has arisen for a PTW Coordinator based on a 28/28 rotation on Barrow Island.

This position will work on site with the PTW Team on an LNG Project. The CSU Permit To Work Coordinator is a key member of the overall BWI Permitting Team, Reporting to the Permit To Work Supervisor and must:
• Provide mandatory nightshift coverage as required by management
• Be able to make difficult decisions, lead and manage others in changing business conditions.
• Have excellent people management skills such as leadership, team, interpersonal, coaching, mentoring and supervisory skills. Must be able to build, motivate, develop and manage effective team relationships.
• Have excellent management skills including the ability to plan, set goals; and manage time, priorities, resources, accountabilities, schedules and cost.
• Able to establish and maintain spreadsheets, databases and records for the purpose of controlling and managing site activities
• Very High level of accuracy when entering Permit to Work Details in to the Permit to Work or Training Registers etc.

The key responsibilities includes:
• Conduct accurate and timely reviews of submitted permits in line with Company policies and procedures, as well as Australian standards and Western Australian / Federal Legislation
• Issue permits and certificates in accordance with site procedures and best industry practice
• Ensure all company and contractor personnel are in compliance with the Permit Procedure and all supporting procedures
• Maintain accurate inventory records
• Maintain accurate record keeping and archiving
• Conduct isolations and isolation verifications in the field as required for project critical tasks
• Undertake loss prevention inspections (LPIs)
• Controlling the movement of lockboxes and isolations
• Training & Administration

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• HSE Cert 4 minimum, HSE Diploma preferred or be in the process of obtaining such a qualification
• Demonstrated 5 + Years Permit to Work & Isolation Officer Experience
• Must have, one or more, permitting in LNG, Complex Hydro/Chemical Processing, Hydrocarbon processing or Complex Hydro Metallurgical processing.
• Preference for Electrical / Mechanical Trades or engineering background
• Leadership experience Supervisor/Engineer
• Technical document writing experience
• Ability to read P&ID/PFD’s, Electrical drawings and plot plans
• Permit system development exposure
• Permit system auditing experience
• Construction, Commissioning and Operational permit experience
• High level of proficiency with Excel, Word and Power Point
• Proficient with MS Access 2007 and above
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Excellent written communication and report writing skills
