The Company:
Our client is a Multinational Chemical company which will construct, own and operate a world-scale integrated chemicals complex in Saudi Arabia. Once completed, the complex will represent the largest petrochemical facility ever built in a single phase. Our client will establish a world-scale manufacturing footprint that delivers a full range of value-added, performance products destined for the emerging markets of Asia Pacific, the Middle East, Eastern Europe and Africa.

The Role:
Implement the company's public relations strategy by executing PR programs and activities in order to enhance the client's reputation with all shareholders, the media and the public.
1. Assist in the design and development of PR programmes, campaigns and promotional materials by liaising with department Managers to determine their needs.
2. Answer any queries that the general public may request regarding information on company programs in order to project a favourable public image of the client. Refer questions to the proper authorities for any specific information request.
3. Compile reports/articles covering special topics as requested by senior managers and present the reports and the findings accurately to senior managers and the management committee.
4. Review and make amendments as appropriate to draft speeches, articles, press releases etc. prepared by writers/ editors to ensure their accuracy and consistency with the client's values.
5. Promote the client’s educational motion pictures by making the necessary arrangements with local religious and political authorities for showing sessions; selecting best viewing site and introducing the film.
6. Analyse the general public views and thoughts in order to identify public opinion trends which can be used to efficiently promote a good public image of the client; report all relevant findings to senior managers and the management committee to discuss an effective course of action.
7. Develop plans for the promotion of the visitors' program by inviting special individual or group of visitors from the public and Government offices; arrange for visitors to meet with Company executives and accompany them during such meetings.
8. Host local and international public figures to visit and introduce them to the client’s facilities, values and culture.
9. Organize scheduled visits to schools and sports clubs in the Kingdom to orient students, teachers and club members about the oil industry in general and the client's activities in particular.
10. Prepare report summarizing the reactions and feedback information of visitors and present to the Public Relations manager any findings and recommendations.
11. Prepare lectures on oil industry and the role of the client to top-level informational conferences with regional educational administrators, and private or public gatherings upon request to promote the goodwill toward the Company.
12. Perform any job-related activities as requested by the immediate supervisor/manager.
