Specialty Summary
Apply evidence base public health knowledge, techniques, and skills to mitigate infectious disease and environmental health threats in Company workplaces. Assist in the design, implementation and monitoring of malaria and other infectious disease prevention and control programs in company workplaces in compliance with Company Operations and Controls Integrity Management Systems and matrix organizational structure.
Administration: Reporting, Technical guidance and interfaces
• Report to and receive guidance from the Global Public Health Manager as a member of the Public Health (PH) team
• Work with peers such as the Clinical Center Of Excellence (CCOE)/ PH Advisor and Europe Africa Middle East Regional Community Affairs Advisor
• Interface with affiliate Occupational Health (OH) Managers and their Public Health focal person, MOH Cluster Managers, Security Safety Health and Environment Managers and Advisors at the global and affiliate levels
• Receive assistance from the MCCP Administrator and MOH Administrative Assistant
• Technically interface with providers for Public Health services
Key responsibilities
• Assist in the global oversight of infectious disease control program implementation in Company workplaces in coordination with global and local stakeholder organizations
• Support affiliate organizations in determining status of malaria and other infectious disease control programs, including effectiveness and compliance with defined procedures
• Conducts periodic site assessments to assess compliance with recommended malaria prevention and control program measures in workplaces
• Establish and maintain MOH malaria and other infectious disease data information management system using morbidity and program monitoring indicators
• Provide periodic program implementation status reports with program results and recommendations and assist in addressing program gap closures and their completeness
• Train and support global and affiliate organizations in using infectious disease control program procedures and tools in company workplaces.
• Review and develop infectious disease program approaches, procedures and tools developed for company workforces in coordination with the Public Health Advisor
• Assist in the dissemination of awareness tools for infectious disease prevention programs and assess the quality of related awareness tools used in operations sites
• Assist in the global coordination of MCCP with the assistance of the MCCP Administrator and assist affiliates in implementing MCCP testing for contractors and employees
• Review on a monthly basis, the MCCP testing process and results with MCCP contractors’ global administrator and in country account contacts
• Oversee the MCCP data reporting system to integrate and periodically report testing results and process information (leading and lagging indicators)
• Coordinate the monthly and annual MCCP reports to be prepared with the MOH and ISOS MCCP administrators and information provided by affiliates
• Oversees the day to day MCCP operations performed by the Administrator for MCCP supply and distribution, test selection, data entry and reporting
• Interface with MCCP providers to control the provision of their services. Providers include ISOS, Duo Research, Tandem lab, DHL…
• Assist the Global Public Health Manager in addressing program needs as required, for the Infectious Disease Control programs in Company workplaces

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
-Public Health Degree and at least 5 years of experience in the field of Public Health that would ideally be both in the US and internationally.
-The candidate will have at least five years of experience in conducting public health programs in workplaces or communities. Programs can be related to prevention and control of infectious diseases such as malaria or other vector borne diseases, tuberculosis and HIV/AIDS. Immunization, food safety, hygiene and sanitation or maternal and child health will also be relevant. Candidates with proven successful experience in working in multi cultural and multidisciplinary environments will be preferred.
-Skills and Knowledge: Knowledge is mandatory for the design, implementation and evaluation of public health program related to infectious diseases.
