The Role:
MAIN GOALS AND OBJECTIVES

Responsible for the representing Purchase in the project team. Facilitate Purchase actions within the Project/Modules and SET and other project related forums. Responsible for reporting and closing out actions in a timely manner to meet Project timelines.



MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Project Planning & KPI’s

a. Collate and prepare response to TCD, PDB, Target Book.
b. Delivery of Purchase PEP requirements in a timely manner.
c. Support FPL in generation and approval through PSK, VAI of Purchase investment budget.
d. Provide information and prepare the content of Purchase RGS and KPI’s to support project/PEP requirements.


2. Forward Sourcing

a. Support the the FPL in the delivery of the Project Forward Sourcing Plan
b. Facilitate resolution of Nomination concerns to ensure timely delivery of project FS Plan.


3. Change Management

a. Purchase Functional interface on KV-AEKO/AEKO/ECR’s.
b. Facilitate resolution of KV-AEKO/AEKO/ECR concerns to ensure timely delivery.
c. Ensure thorough preparation for Top AEKO (or equivalent approval forum).
d. Support Purchase in cross functional review of Changes


4. Cross Functional interfacing

a. Network and communicate effectively with other functions/departments.
b. Support Purchase deliverables when interfacing with other functions/departments.
c. Assist FPL to Influence within Purchase to ensure Projects needs are achieved.
d. Attendance and participation at Key Project reviews/meetings.


5. Continuous Improvement

a. Challenge costs & timing to ensure best solution of Bentley.
b. Maintain TS16949/QS14001 audit accreditation.
c. Drive own development to ensure necessary skills/competencies to meet role.
d. Support development needs of any subordinates.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Demonstrable experience in a project environment.

Demonstrable experience of communicating at all levels within the organisation

Team player, self-motivated and flexible


PRACTICAL & TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE

Financial management

Project management and reporting skills

Microsoft office skills

Knowledge of the automotive Product Emergence Process (PEP)



Ability to influence and negotiate

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
CIPS qualification would be an advantage

TOP
