The Company:
Is a leading Automotive manufacturer with a reputation for outstanding quality the world over. With demand increasing and an upturn in production, there is a need to bring further skills into the business to deliver on current and future projects.

The Role:
The role covers the preparation of Parts within selected categories and co-ordination of a cross functional team within these categories. The role does involve overseas travel.

 - Responsible for the production readiness for assigned Parts and associated facilities for current and future vehicle models within Purchasing, including model year project.
 - Use continuous improvement techniques in conjunction with compnay and the supplier to ensure on time delivery of parts to meet project requirements.
 - Assist in tool resource or refurbishment activities on current production models, and to support approved AEKO implementation on assigned.
 - Provide technical knowledge on manufacturing process and methodologies to Purchase.

This position will report directly to the Manager Purchase Technical Support and will involve working cross functionally as well as within the Purchasing Team.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Demonstrable experience is required, preferably within an automotive/manufacturing environment.
Demonstrate necessary knowledge of automotive component manufacturing processes.

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Educated to a degree level or equivalent technical training / apprenticeship with Project Management/Production Preparation experience.
