The Company:
An established international oil and gas operator.
The role will be for an offshore platform construction project.

The Role:
PURCHASING MANAGER
- Proactively follow up EPCH contractors procurement of goods and services as required by the scope of the relevant EPCH contracts
- Manage, plan and coordinate Company’s work related to purchase of equipment and materials
-Participate in defining the Standardisation of Equipment strategy.
-Proactively liaise with relevant category teams in order to obtain and give updated market information with respect to price and lead-times development
-Establish follow up strategies within own area of responsibilities
-Ensure that the agreements are correctly used and managed
-Assist and advice Company Rep. and the Contract Administrator on purchasing related tasks
-Close cooperation with technical personnel

CONTRACT ADMINISTRATOR (Assist when needed)
-Administration and follow-up of EPCH contract (Variation Order/Variaton Order Requests)
-General support to the Procurement manager/Contract Manager/Company Representative
-Make sure that the team members understand the commercial mechanisms in the agreements
-Ensure that all procurement processes/- and deliverables are conducted efficiently, with proper control and in compliance with Statoil’s requirements
-Be an active member of the Procurement organisation within the project

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
- Extensive experience from project development and execution (min 10 years)
- Extensive experience from managing and following up large contractors procurement of goods and services (min 10 years)
- Experience from administration and follow-up of larger topside Contracts (min 5 years)
-International Site Experience

•Business understanding and value chain perspective
