The Company:
Our client is an oil & gas operator.

The Role:
• Comment on time, CONTRACTOR detailed engineering deliverable and make sure that CONTRACT requirements will be met (including Technical Bids Evaluations)
• Expedite the CONTRACTOR to issue engineering deliverables with the right quality level and as per the approved MDR.
• Assess and review on regular basis the progress of the CONTRACTOR's engineering deliverable by reviewing the MDRS for his/her discipline. Alert his/her hierarchy in case of CONTRACTOR under performance.
• Assist the project management in Vendor selection.
• Review and comment vendor documents that have been assigned to him/her and assist Engineering Managers in technical problem solving at all stage of work. Attend to vendors meeting as required.
• Review and prepare a response to Requests for Clarification, Requests for Waivers.
• Review and propose response to TR for project management approval.
• Perform regular visits at the WORKSHOP and WORKSITE. Inform Engineering Managers of any concerns that might jeopardize the quality, the cost or the project schedule.
• Manage punch-list (from reviews or meetings) clearance that he/she has been assigned.
• Ensure the work performed is consistent with other disciplines.
• Provide support to the commissioning team in development and resolution of technical findings.
• Cooperate with field operation representative and make sure correct hand-over can be performed.
• Organize for his/her discipline weekly coordination meetings with the CONTRACTOR.
• Report weekly activities performed and attend to coordination meetings.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Chartered engineer with min 10 years’ experience of piping, valves and vessels engineering follow-up within oil and gas project.
• Knowledge of code and standards relating to this activity (ASME VIII, AME B31.3, TEMA, API 650, API 620..)
• Good communication skills
• English mandatory, French highly appreciated.
