The Company:
One of the world's leading private biotechnology companies, developing and manufacturing innovative biotechnology-based medicines for human healthcare products, with a focus on microbial-derived biologics .

The Role:
A vacancy has arisen for a QA Administrator to work within our QA Document Control team, this is a 12 month fixed term position with working hours of 8.30 to 5.00 Monday to Thursday and 8.30 to 4.00 Friday (36.5 hours per week).

The Role includes:
• Data entry into the various software packages such as Microsoft Office
• Issue of master documentation and controlled copies of documentation, including production records.
• Tracking and reconciliation of documentation issued to other departments.
• Scanning of documentation.
• Archival and storage of documentation, including co-ordination of movement of documentation to off-site storage.
• Destruction of documentation and witnessing of this activity.
• Being first point of contact for internal customer queries and issues
• Work within a busy but friendly environment.
• Interaction with internal customers in person, by e-mail and by telephone.
• General office duties

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Experience in documentation control and archival, preferably within a QA/GMP or other regulated environment.
• IT literate, proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Access.
• Ability to perform basic administrative duties, whilst demonstrating excellent attention to detail and apply a methodical approach to work.
• Able to follow written procedures and standard processes and maintain compliance.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.
• Ability to work within a team and respond flexibly to business demands, but can also work under own initiative.
• Fast and accurate data entry skills
• Excellent communication skills and able to interact with personnel across all levels of the business, both in person, via e-mail and telephone.
• Demonstrate a pro-active approach in highlighting issues.
• Flexible approach, willing to apply new skills and flag potential inefficiencies.
