The Role:
• Lead the development of the Audit Plans and Schedules to validate compliance to the Operator’s Major Projects Construction Quality Program Manual
• Conduct Audits in accordance with the Audit Schedule and report trends of compliance to the Major Projects CQPM.
• Focus on continuous improvement by participating in teambuilding sessions and Quality Improvement Team sessions.
• Facilitate system turnovers by interfacing with the Turnover Coordinator and by reviewing the Quality Documentation/Records provided in the Turnover Dossiers to substantiate completion of work and sign MC-1 and SH-1 documentation as required.
• Provide monthly quality performance indicator data to the Major Projects Quality Manager for his review and approval of quality trends and issues.

Roles
• Lead the development of the Audit Plans and Schedules to validate compliance to the Operator’s Major Projects Construction Quality Program Manual (Operator’s Major Projects CQPM).
• Ensure that Audits are conducted timely and in accordance with the Audit Schedule.
• Provide monthly quality performance indicator data to the Major Projects Quality Manager for his review and approval of quality trends and issues.
• Maintain the Operator’s Nonconformance Report (NCR) log and track any nonconformance’s issued by the owner to completion.
• Participate in planned quality reviews with the quality groups of on-site contractors.
• Facilitate system turnovers by interfacing with the Turnover Coordinator and by reviewing the Quality Documentation/Records provided in the Turnover Dossiers to substantiate completion of work and sign MC-1 and SH-1 documentation as required.
• Focus on continuous improvement by participating in teambuilding sessions and Quality Improvement Team sessions

Responsibilities
• Enforce the requirements of the Operator’s Major Projects Quality Program Manual (Operator’s Major Projects CQPM).
• Develop an audit schedule, prepare for and conduct the audits and track the deficiencies for follow-up and correction.
• Assist in the preparation of the monthly quality results report for inclusion into the project monthly report.
• Participate in the review of the contractor’s Quality Control Plans.
• Participate in the review of the contractor’s Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) and indicate Operator observation, witness or hold points as applicable within the plans.
• Participate in reviews, in conjunction with the project safety manager, to assure that all items such as HAZOPS, model reviews and the associated changes have been followed through to resolution and are included in final project erection documents.
• Participate in the monthly/bi-monthly quality meetings with Operator and contractor to discuss performance and status of improvement opportunities.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Certified Quality Auditor to ISO 90001, either by American Society for Quality (ASQ) or other reputable certifying company whose certification is registered with ASQ as qualified to provide such certification.
• In-depth experience in preparing for, developing audit checklists, conducting audits, and writing audit reports that are compliant to ISO 90001.
• Several years performing quality audits on petrochemical plants, powerhouse or other chemical plants.
