The Company:
Our client is a major operator within Oil and Gas.

The Role:
The QA Coordinator is responsible for coordinating inspection, certification and compliance activities and advising management and project team members on matters related to assurance and technical integrity. Also for ensuring compliance with project standards, applicable regulatory standards and Best International Petroleum Industry Practice.
The QA Coordinator reports to the Assurance Manager and is an integral member of the Project QA/QC Group and in that role will be working closely with Projects, Developments, Operations and Facilities teams on the implementation and monitoring of in country Iraq vendor, contractor and third party inspection agencies activities.

Key Deliverables:
• Be a strong advocate of Assurance and Engineering Integrity within the Integrated Project Management team and to provide support and assistance on assurance issues such as certification and validation during engineering, fabrication and installation.
• Establish assurance systems and processes for the PPT project team in accordance with Best International Petroleum Industry Practice drawing on expertise from the IPMT and standards available from the client and the Contractor. Establish measurement and ongoing monitoring KPI’s, determine baseline data and agree targets for improvement.
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory standards, working closely with the Operations and Facilities team on Integrity programmes including Change Management and documentation processes.
• Conduct audits, both internal and external in accordance with the audit schedule. Monitor and close out NCR’s identified during audits.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Engineering and postgraduate qualification in Engineering, and/or experience in similar positions, with strong interpersonal skills demonstrated in senior roles.
• Extensive industry experience in a variety of roles that demonstrate skills progression leading to senior assurance roles. Relevant experience to include Engineering design, project management, operations/maintenance and integrity/audit roles including monitoring and remediation.
• A thorough understanding of international quality standards’.
• Good presentation and persuasion skills with effective communication skills demonstrated in internally and externally.
