The Company:
Our Client is an International Oil and Gas Operator involved in 2 of Australia's largest LNG Projects based in Western Australia.

The Role:
The Downstream Infrastructure I & E Discipline Lead / Auditor is required to join the Project Team early in Phase 4 of the Project and work closely with the project Support and execution teams. This will ensure the proper QA support required for transition from execution / turnover / completions / commissioning in a flawless manner.

During Phase 4 The Downstream I & E Discipline Lead / Auditor will:
o Establish the organization capability necessary to support an auditing schedule across all areas of construction and fabrication.
o Work closely with the Quality Assurance Manager, the integrated EPCM Quality Manager, the IM / DCC and EPCM, for assurance of a seamless transition and turnover to Operations.
o Assist other areas as required within their specific discipline to assist in system issues, NCR resolution / investigation, MoC oversight and assist in the Quality reporting structure.
o Assist in training and inspections as required for EX atmosphere in WA. Verify by audit the effective implementation and utilization of the Gorgon Quality Management System.

The various aspects of the Quality system shall be verified in multiple locations. Review, evaluate and advises on instrument/electrical specifications/drawings and Factory Acceptance Tests. Individual will have specific responsibilities to monitor and appraise instrument and electrical work in the specific area designated with applicable discipline to ensure compliance with Project specifications. This may involve temporary assignments for oversight in support of field QA. Promote safety awareness (IIF) and safe performance example among project team members and all contractor personnel. This would include participationin IIF training at site and fabrication yards. Manage Project required QA services and verify the inspection of the project deliverables consistent with approved specifications, criticality assessments, contractual and regulatory obligations.Promote clear, accurate, timely and consistent communication with other organizations with respect to Global Project Quality expectations and objectives. Support the requirements of verifying Company Quality Assurance in regards to implementation of a seamless Turnover and completions.

12 month assignment, 9 hour day

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
University degree in science or equal QC skill set with certifiable WA certificates
10-15 years in oil and gas
Auditing to ISO 9001 qualification

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Ability to trouble shoot and do investigative analysis as required. The ability to train and mentor personnel in auditing and I & E discipline skill set is required. Strong communication, very diverse Quality Assurance / Quality Control and project execution experience. Demonstrated leadership in Quality systems, specific discipline I & E support for construction and completions requirements are required to support the execution and planning of these activities
