Job Title: QA Manager
Job Location: London and South East
Rate/Salary: Negotiable
Duration: 12 Months
Residency: U.K./ E.U.

The Company:
Operator client in the oil and gas industry.

The Role:
To ensure Phase 1A project and project equipment is delivered according to approved quality plans and the engineering and equipment has appropriate verification.

The Quality Assurance Manager will:
•Prepare a Quality Assurance Plan to establish the requirements for Quality Management through the project and communicate these both externally (to suppliers, contractors, vendors etc) and internally
•Define the need for Independent verification and additional or supplementary testing
•Manage the Inspection Contractor(s) and ensure inspectors are present at any fabricator/vendor in accordance with the approved ITP’s.
•Control the receipt and storage of QA documentation
•Act as the authority in Quality Assurance matters, providing guidance to the Project team and its Contractors and suppliers
•Promote a Quality culture within the project and suppliers and contractors to the project.
•Provide Quality Assurance management for the Project
•Inform the IPT of Quality issues
•Maintain a Non-conformance register
•Maintain the risk register

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
•Engineering degree.
•Member of appropriate Institution

•Experience of offshore construction, including FPSO’s and subsea pipelines
•Welding experience and/or metallurgy background
•3rd party verification
•Quality management
•Planning and reporting
•Working within suppliers’ ITP’s
•Working with 3rd party agencies for inspection personnel.

•Good team member
•Mobile
