The Company:
Our Client is an International Company involved in the supply of Energy globally. Their Operations cover Exploration, Production and Downstream and at present they have projects in over 30 Countries worldwide.In Australia they are involved in one of the Country's largest LNG Projects, including both Gas and Condensate which is currently in Construction Stage.

The Role:
We are looking for an experienced Logistics QC/QC Coordinator to act as the main QA/QC representative at the companies Onshore Warehouse. This will include the goods receipt inspection of company procured components and assemblies, the review and approval of certification and traceability documentation, the coordination of additional 3rd party inspection resources when required and contribute to the establishment and on-going improvement of company processes and procedures.

Some of the main duties include (but not limited to):
Provide a high level of technical expertise in relation to the inspection and testing of a wide range of spare components and / or assemblies as well as performing the required inspection of these incoming materials.
Review and approve all applicable documentation supplied for each spare component / assembly in order to establish compliance against the applicable codes / standards. This may include material certification, test and/or inspection records and/or full assembly MDRs.
Undertake the responsibility of participating as a super user within the relevant Quality management applications of the companies integrated purchasing / supply chain system.
Provide accurate weekly reporting of Onshore Warehouse based activities to the Central Quality team and other stakeholders where applicable, inclusive of all company inspection activities, material status, NCR status, third party inspection status, perceived concerns and a look ahead of planned activities.
Provide accurate and timely reporting of the inspection surveillance status to the Quality, Contracts & Procurement and Logistics teams from the SAP system reporting outputs.
Participate and contribute to all planned meetings within the Onshore Warehouse facility and where applicable via phone / video conference with the Perth Central Quality team.
When applicable liaise with the Contracts & Procurement team to ensure the efficient handover of applicable data generated from the receival documentation process is entered into the company electronic data management system.
Coordinate the effective use of third party inspection resources based on the applicable workloads and /or the need for specialized inspection disciplines.
Identify and report all product and/or process NCRs through the appropriate company processes and procedures. Participate in the development and verification of suitable corrective and preventative actions.
Provide input and guidance to the initial development of the companies quality management processes and procedures relative to the purchasing, receival and warehousing of spare components and/or assemblies.

This is a contract based position.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
To be considered for this role you shall possess the following:

Experience:
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a manufacturing / service and/or warehousing environment, preferably servicing the Oil & Gas industry, applying QA/QC requirements within a project and / or operational environment.
Demonstrable experience in performing QC inspections on a wide range of components and assemblies.
Demonstrable experience in relation to the warehousing and management of spare components and/or assemblies to support an operational environment.
Demonstrable Experience in the review of applicable certification for components / assemblies in order to establish compliance against the applicable codes and/or standards. This may include material certification, test and/or inspection records and/or full assembly MDRs.
Demonstrable experience in the identification and reporting of product and/or process NCRs and participation in the development and verification of suitable corrective and preventat

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Preferable:
Australian electrical license
Current inspection qualification(s) / certification(s) in a relevant discipline such as welding, mechanical or electrical etc.
Lead Auditor Qualification, with demonstrable experience in leading audits, or leading reviews in an operational environment.
ISO 9712, CSWIP, PCN or equivalent NDT qualifications or accredited NDT training.
