The Company:
The Client has a unique position in the UK energy sector with 60 years of energy sector experience and in the last 10 years has built a strong business resulting in a strong presence re the UK's energy needs.

The Role:
•Support the establishment and implementation of Management System for the Project including integration with the key contractors’ systems;
•Prepare, issue for use and update Project Quality Plan;
•Produce and manage the Project Audit Schedule;
•Conduct and report on Internal and External Project specific audits in accordance with the audit schedule. Issue and follow-up of audit non-conformances and improvement opportunities, resulting from them;
•Ensure project specifications, material requitistions and engineering deliverables reflect the project QA/QC objectives.
•Participate as team member of the Equipment Package Groups, as required;
•Review of project documentation with regard to quality assurance;
•Coordination of the Inspection Contract and raising Service Orders for field inspectors as required. Ensure that inspectors are aware of project procedures, Statutory and Legislative requirements and essential health and safety procedures for a safe and effective working environment, review and process inspection reports, ensuring distribution to the relevant company personnel as per the document distribution matrix;
•Liaison with Suppliers’/ Contractors’ QA/QC Representatives, where required;
•Assist with the Engineering contractors’ quality management systems in the development and control of suitable documentation;
•Co-ordination of project Non-Conformance reports and registers;
•Provide input to project reports identifying project quality performance measures, issues, and trends.
•Develop and maintain a record of all QA related Project records for handover to Operations upon project completion.
•Consult with, assist and support the Quality Advisor – Systems in the implementation of the Business Management System (BMS)

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
•Qualified Lead Auditor to ISO 9000:2008;
•Strong communications and networking skills;
•Degree/HNC or equivalent in an engineering or scientific discipline, with a focus on technical QA/QC, risk management and internal control issues;
•Experience in the Oil and Gas industry;
•Experience of onshore and offshore EPIC activities;
•Advanced understanding of QA/QC, project quality functions, and HSE management;
•Developed working knowledge of QA/QC certification/documentation;
•Leading audit and review programmes;
•Knowledge of fabrication, welding, NDT and quality engineering and testing.
•Technical understanding of client, national and international codes and standards (ASME, AWS, ANSI, PED, ATEX etc.)
•Computer literate in Microsoft Office suite of software
