The Role:
Urgent Start Date required

This Role is best suited to individuals living within Norway - either Norwegians or expats who have permit residency

Hours - Monday - Friday
Candidates MUST be able to speak Norwegian

Responsibilities
• Review Contract Specifications and establish QA/QC requirements
• Review Project documentation including ITP's, WPS/PQR, NDE procedures and test procedures to ensure they meet code and client requirements
• Prepare quality related documentation including Quality Plans/ITP’s
• Manage all QA/QC activities relating to the project
• Attend and lead supplier Pre-Inspection Meetings
• Manage/complete inspections for all purchased equipment (Pressure Vessels, Pipework, Skid Based Packages, Pumps, Valves etc.)
• Perform and review Internal & Supplier Audits to ISO 9001, ISO 3834 etc.
• Managing Non-conformities & corrective actions related to the project
• Monitor and support supplier performance in line with company targets

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Qualification, training & knowledge
• 3 years’ minimum QA/QC experience within the Oil & Gas Industry (or similar industry)
• Formal qualification in an engineering based discipline (Apprenticeship/HNC/Degree)
• Auditor (ISO 9001)
• CSWIP 3.1 Welding Inspector (advantageous)
• PCN Level 2 - PT/MT/RT/UT (advantageous)
• Working knowledge of codes (PED, ASME VIII, ASME B31.3, BS EN ISO 15614, AWS D1.1 etc.)
• Experience with inspections of Pressure Vessels, Pipework, Skid Based Packages, Pumps, Valves etc.
• Languages, English & Norwegian
