The Role:
• Responsible for the overall Quality Management on site and the respective local works to be followed, and for implementing and maintaining the site quality plan in accordance to the overall Project Quality Plan.
• Ensure that contracted resources with the required QA/QC skill set and capability exist within the Operations and projects group. For the incumbent inspector to function effectively in this position he or she must have in-depth knowledge and skills in process piping fabrication, welding, NDE, and site acceptance testing activities within the petrochemical industry (both onshore and offshore environment).
• Reports in to the Construction Manager (direct line) and site OIM (indirect line)

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Certification in two or more of the following: API 510, API 570, API 653, NACE CIP, ASME CWI. For welding inspector current Certified Welding inspector (CWI) certification is required.
• Minimum (7) years experience in QA/QC activities in the petrochemical industry, with at least (3) years in representing Client position.
• A high level of safety awareness and knowledge of applicable regulations, codes and standards. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal;
• Computer literate with typical office packages;
• Ability to comply with HSSE standards required and to lead by example to ensure that all aspects of the work are completed safely and in line with HSSE expectations
• Ability to manage interfaces and work closely alongside project and operations teams during construction activities
• Self starter with a strong delivery focus and good problem solving and analytical skills
