The Company:
Our Client is an International Company involved in the supply of Energy globally. Their Operations cover Exploration, Production and Downstream and at present they have projects in over 25 Countries worldwide.
In Australia they are involved in one of the Country's largest LNG Projects, including both Gas and Condensate which is currently in Execution Stage.

The Role:
Currently searching for a QA/QC Lead to follow the project to various locations (Japan & China). The QA/QC Lead - Module Yard reports to the Module Yard Representative with a functional report to the Onshore Lead Quality Engineer. They will assure compliance by the EPC Contractor and Module Fabricator.

Duties will include:

-Review and where required approve onsite Quality Documents, i.e. revised plans, work instructions, test procedures etc.
-Hold regular Quality Meetings with the Company Inspection Team and Contractor Quality Managers.
-Facilitate Company led audits and reviews of the fabrication yard,
-Ensure all agreed Contractor Quality plans, procedures and ITP's are implemented within the yard,
-Monitor and implement module fabrication Verification Check Plans,
-Provide weekly reports on quality status/issues to the yard Management Team and Onshore Quality Manager
-Monitor and review engineering practices in the yard, including design, document control and interface management,
-Monitor module fabricator's manufacturing processes (welder qualifications, consumables control, segregation of materials and preservation of Equipment etc),
-Monitor and participate in module fabricator's Vendors QA/QC activities eg bulks (including pre-qualification/tender processes, product inspection, equipment certification),
-Monitor Contractor's QC implementation within the fabrication yard (eg receipt inspection, in-process inspection, inspections records, inspector qualifications),
-Monitor and participate in fabrication yard testing (including operator qualifications, pressure/leak tests, NDT, electrical/instrument functional testing, records traceability) etc,
-Review and monitor Corrective Actions of Contractor NCRs within the Module Fabrication Yard, Subcontractors and Vendors or Stockists,
-Review Contractor and module fabricator's records management and preparation for handover, including module MDRs,
-Facilitate any IVB activities applicable to the fabrication yard.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
-Relevant experience working with international codes (AS code experience preferred)
-Lead Auditor Qualification, with demonstrable experience in leading audits
-Welding/NDT qualifications (preferred)
-Development and implementation of QA and QC programmes for oil and gas capital resource projects at module fabrication yards.
-Supervision of third party inspection and verification bodies.
-Oversee and manage the Module QC team.
-Fabrication, welding, coating, inspection & testing, PMI.
-Auditing of Quality Management systems of Module Fabricator Suppliers
-Minimum 10 years experience in the application of Quality Assurance and Quality Control management in fabrication of oil and gas modules
