The Role:
Summary: Supervise the day to day operations of the Laboratory and Quality Control / Assurance for Lubricants Supply Chain and Aviation.

Main responsibilities:
- Health and safety of 6 reports and all applicable laboratory assets and equipment in laboratory facility
- Management of Lubricants and S&D product quality control services, Aviation fuel additive dosing and recommendations for off specification product management / correction.
- Management of laboratory testing resources to balance LOBP/GBP requirements M-F day shift testing requirements against 24/7 nature of LSC, S&D, Aviation and Bitumen batch and ship discharge testing requirements.
- Focal point to manage / maintain compliance and auditing to ISO 17025 / NATA accreditation to ensure approved release of all products.
- Management and monitoring of laboratory compliance to the National Association of Testing Authority (NATA) Laboratory quality control systems and standards to ensure licence to operate the lab services.
- Direct NATA signatory responsibility for test report review / approval and release, Aviation fuels, Aviation additives and Bitumen product batches that meet specification.
- Application of the national QC product specification standards (LSC, Aviation, Retail/Commercial fuels), to minimise product quality liability and ensure that released products meet specified requirements.
- Application of assurance systems in Laboratory sampling and testing regimes. Responsible for ensuring product quality meets regulator, customer and brand-led requirements by -- Ensure the system of sampling and laboratory testing of raw materials and finished products;
- Interpretation of test data to determine if products meet specification certifying product for sale to end customers;

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
-Degree qualified
-Minimum 5 years in Laboratory analysing and QA
-Experience in Lubricants Supply Chain
-Time management
-Effective communication
