The Company:
A major oil & gas operator

The Role:
This is a Cairo based position with occasional trips to site.

Develop company Quality Management System and the accreditation of ISO 9001 : 2008
Provide line management leadership in ensuring that the QA Project Management System is implemented within PhPC departments and during the execution of projects
Manage a 3rd Party Independent Verification Scheme for Safety Critical Equipment and Coordination of a 3rd Party Inspection Company for the Non-Safety Critical Equipment
Set up and ensures effective implementation of the supplier quality requirements
Engage skilled and qualified QC inspectors to support the surveillance and compliance requirements of QPs and sub contractors ITPs throughout the life of a project (s)
Establish material management system ensuring materials are correctly certified & fully traceable
Implement a robust NCR reporting process and encourage all participants to conform to reporting requirements and maintain the Action Tracking System to verify close out of corrective actions
Analyze inputs to establish trends and use trends for Contractor focus on QMS implementation
Maintain internal and external audit schedules and ensure audits are formally closed.
Ensure QA audits findings are registered and closed out in a timely manner
Maintain a QA risk register specific to QA / QC delivery and incorporate risks and mitigation plans into master Risk register

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Must be a Certified ISO 9001:2008 Lead Auditor
Previous experience on an EPC contract
Must be knowledgeable in welding techniques and non-destructive testing

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
BSc degree in engineering or equivalent is prefered, other qualification i.e. an engineering diploma or an IQA recognized qualification in quality management may be acceptable

Should be knowledgeable or previously held certification in AWS/CSWIP (Welding) and/ASNT L-II in RT/PT/MT, CSWIP/BGAS (Painting)
