The Company:
Our client is a leading global oil & gas operating company.
The Role:
• Provide management and direction to Company site/yard QA and QC staff • Assist in staffing Company site/yard QA and QC personnel. • Maintain interfaces with Project and Site management and monitor the plans and activities of Site QA/QC • Establishment of and ensure that systems, plans and procedures are in place. • Management of the Project is being implemented correctly and that the Project objectives for quality and quality assurance are being achieved. • As a senior member of the site team, to foster and maintain the team approach and to take an active role in IIF implementation and the health safety and welfare of all. • Conduct regular audits of the Site Team operation and report compliance or recommendations for improvement. •Ensure that the Site Document Control requirements are in line with Project guidelines and that deliverables are as required and compiled on schedule. • Ensure that the Contractor and its Subcontractors have acceptable and approved quality systems, plans and procedures to carry out the scope of work. . Continuously monitor the Contractor’s and its Subcontractors’ performance to the approved quality system by conducting systems and procedural audits.
Essential Skills / Qualifications:
University degree in engineering or equivalent with a minimum of ten (10) years QA/QC experience or High school diploma with a minimim of fifteen (15) years experience in construction
• Minimum of five (5) years experience directly related to field supervision of construction activities in the contract's scope of work e.g. oil, gas and/or petrochemical projects
• Experience related to Quality planning, budgets,cost management, scheduling, reporting, and inspection agency contracting and coordination. Experience working with contractors (EPC, EPCM, etc.) and suppliers, preferably in the oil and gas industry. • Able to read, interpret and communicate (both written and verbally) in English.
AWS CWI, CSWIP and NACE or approved equivalent certifications or other accepted qualifications.
