The Role:
Fircroft are seeking a QA QC piping inspector for a long term contract in Georgia (Near Russia)
Rotation: 6x2
Flights & Accommodation – Provided
Rates: Net day rate

Supervise discipline inspection team personnel in execution of construction quality oversight activities.
Piping inspector ensuring critical inspection activities are witnessed.
Report to the QC Lead on all quality related matters relating to pipe work
Preform oversight inspection of Contractors pipe work installation, covering fit up, welding and NDE.
Monitor contractor’s construction of 48” pipe line within site area and connection into main pipeline.
Review of inspection procedures and documentation.
Reporting and advising the construction team of any quality issues.
Promote achievement of the Project Quality Policy and Objectives
Assist and support the Project Manager to achieve the contract objectives
Promote the Quality Policy & Objectives and ensure compliance to EP-GP-50-10-1 Quality Management in Major Projects
Demonstrate HSE leadership by actively engaging the site team and construction contractors with actions that contribute to delivering on HSE expectations
Verify implementation of contractors’ requirements.
Demonstrate a commitment to the development of Georgian nationals by providing advice, coaching and training
Ensure that patrol surveillance of the Contractors activities, and of the Contractors QC activities is conducted.
Perform Inspection in line with ITP and oversight and assurance requirements.
Attendance at defined Hold and Witness points identified within the Inspection & Test Plans.
Report and raise Non Conformances as required.

Strong Leadership skills

Proficient in the use of MS Excel, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint


Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Inspection qualifications in welding inspection to PCN or CSWIP (Essential)
Experience and qualification in NDE (MPI, UT, DPI, RAD and AUT) (desirable).
Experience in pipe spool fabrication, erection and welding essential.
(All Certification shall be valid).
Minimum of 10 years’ experience in a quality discipline relating to Inspection/Quality working with pipe fabrication and construction.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience on QC activities applicable to oil & gas onshore and/or offshore Pipeline and facilitates construction
