The Company:
Our Client is a leading Company in the Oil and Gas industry

The Role:
• Lead by example in the area of HSE to achieve Zero LTI’s
• Review and approval of Contractors Inspection and test plans (ITPs) and Procedures. Verify requirements are in line with SIPD specifications.
• Review design documents and be fully familiar with all scope of work.
• Attend Pre Inspection Meetings (PIM).
• Perform prestart up audits of contractor’s plant and equipment.
• Perform Quality surveillance as per approved Inspection and Test Plan.
• Ensure timely and adequate review and approval of contractors Quality Records.
• Work closely with Contractors personnel and advise them of quality requirements.
• Monitor and ensure inspection and quality surveillance activities are efficiently and effectively performed.
• Review and approval of QA/QC requirements for Red Line as constructed drawings.
• Review and acceptance of inspection reports from TPI(s) and Resident Inspector(s).
• Communicate effectively with SIPD project staff, Contractors and any Third Party.
• Perform any duties that may be required to enhance the works.
• Strive to make continual improvement in inspection processes.




ADDITIONAL COMMENTS/SPECIAL CHALLENGES:
• Fluent in English language is essential, reading, writing and spoken. Must possess the ability to mentor local Iraqi Nationals.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Bachelor of Science Degree or Higher National Diploma in Welding or Mechanical Engineering from a recognised University or College.
• 10 Years post graduation experience in related discipline.
• Thorough knowledge of welding codes and standards ASME, API & other International standards.
• Ability to interpret radiographic films, CSWIP, PCN or ASNT qualifications in NDE.
• Mandatory training (Induction, Risk Awareness etc)
• IT Literate (Excel / Word etc)


• Self Starter and Team Member.
• Ability to demonstrate understanding of SHEQ safe working practices and procedures and their implementation.
• Ability to work to deadlines in an accurate, consistent and structured manner.
• Ability to work in a team environment and provide guidance to other team members.
• Ability to follow / comply with procedures and recognised working practices
• Complete knowledge of Iraq and International Quality and Technical Standards.
