The Company:
Our client is a leading global oil and gas operating company.

The Role:
The Company QA/SQS Coordinator implements and administers the Quality Assurance Plan that is manifested by the Company QA Supervisor for field (construction/fabrication sites) and participates on a day-to-day basis in those quality assurance activities that provide Quality Assurance Support for the Capital Projects Organization
Project Development (All phases):
•Preparation of Quality Plans for Company Projects
•Assist in the development of cost estimate for quality deliverables and SQS assignments
•Assist in the assignment of Quality resources
•Capture lessons learned for continuous improvement of processes / procedures

Vendor / Supplier / Contractor Bid Analysis and Surveillance:
•Review and analyze vendor/supplier Quality Submissions (plans, resources, systems)
•Be familiar with the Project Specific Quality Plan for the project and perform according to that plan. At a minimum the Project Specific Quality Plan shall describe in detail the objective, Quality Policy, required procedures, organization, management review, Quality Assurance / Supplier Quality Surveillance activities, resource schedule, inspections, verifications, audits, value improving practices, and responsibilities required to manage project quality effectively. Additionally, the Plan shall include the Company quality activities associated with Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Commissioning activities; it shall also reference applicable Contractor Quality Plans to provide a complete picture of how quality is managed.
•Prepare recommendations for award of work based on bid analysis
•Audit vendor/supplier implementation of specific quality plans

QA Field Related Activities:
•Monitor and coordinate field QA personnel to ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and plans
•Audit quality records throughout execution, including contractor field reports, non-compliance reports, and correspondence as related to quality
•Assist in the turnover of projects from contractor to Owner
•Audit vendor/supplier quality programs there implementation
•Develop Non-Conformance Reports(NCR) for audit findings
•Monitor and report on status of NCR’s
•Review Owner QA Field Reports
•Act as liaison between QA and vendors/suppliers/contractors, engineering, data management, and project teams
•Perform audits of implementation of Owner programs and processes (CPMS, CPMS AK, etc.)
•Audit inspection and testing of new construction to ensure compliance with design, specifications, codes, standards, and regulatory requirements

•Other duties as assigned by the Company QA Supervisor
•NSTC training required
•Additional training required by Company
•Be physically able to conduct field duties as required by Company

HSE (Note specific training requirements):
•Complete HSE Training requirements as outlined by CPAI Training Server for Mechanical QA or Electrical QA Field Position.
•Site specific HSE training to be completed upon arriving to slope location.

•Prepare Project Specific Quality Assurance plans that are descriptive and detailed for Project Quality deliverables.
•Prepare weekly report that shall include information regarding project specific observations. Verify that applicable procedures, codes, specifications, and contract requirements were implemented; any discrepancies between the observation and requirements, along with any potential hazards; and all cost avoidance items.
•All Reports created during the week that are designated as “Stable” shall be provided to the Company QA Coordinator no later than Close of business Monday. Reports designated as “Serious, Critical or Needs Immediate Attention” shall be provided to the QA Coordinator the day of the observation and followed up with a telephone conference that day.
•All open items within the report(s) shall be re-examined and a follow up report shall be written. This follow up report shall include the detailed original surveillance, the contractor’s corrective action, and the new observation.
