The Company:
Our Client is an International Company involved in the supply of Energy globally. Their Operations cover Exploration, Production and Downstream and at present they have projects in over 25 Countries worldwide.
In Australia they are involved in one of the Country's largest LNG Projects, including both Gas and Condensate which is currently in Execution Stage.

The Role:
Our client is looking for a QC Insulations Inspector role to provide specialist QC Competence to the onshore team.

Your duties will include but not limited to:

• Attend as the Company nominated representative for Insulation discipline witness and monitor intervention points on Site Construction ITPs,
• Continuously monitor and where required carry out joint surveillance inspection with the Contractor’s on site QC Counterparts,
• Produce formal reports of inspection carried out on the construction site,
• Review associated inspection records for completeness and accuracy,
• Monitor Subcontractor’s manufacturing processes (including technicians and inspector qualifications, Contractor’s inspector input, implementation of agreed procedures and construction drawings, implementation of testing etc),
• Monitor and ensure Contractor raises NCRs, as and when non-conformances are detected,
• Investigate the root cause of any NCR’s raised and report outcome to the Deputy Quality Manager and Lead Quality Engineer,
• Monitor key testing and completeness of records,
• Verify Insulation Operators Qualifications,
• Periodic checks of Equipment Calibrations,
• Periodically check equipment storage and preservation,

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
In order to be considered you will have the ability to demonstrate knowledge, capability and competence in the following commercial, technical and interpersonal aspects:

• ICorr Level 2 certification, preferred, or equivalent insulation qualification
• NACE Level 2 or equivalent, preferred
• International qualifications shall be current and must have been held for 5 years minimum,
• Experience in working as an inspector for the client team,
• Ability to prepare concise, legible reports of activities conducted
• A minimum of 10 years’ experience in insulation inspection for major oil and gas module projects, including Insulation installation and application.
• Five years’ experience specifically related to Cryogenic insulation activities,
• A minimum of 10 years’ experience in Quality Control processes during construction of oil and gas module projects
