The Role:
Job Responsibilities

•Reporting to FE QC Coordinator and interacting with Offshore Contractors Supervisors and QC personnel to develop, review, implement and manage the safety, health, environment and quality requirements for the project.
•Guidance for Contractor discipline Inspectors assigned to the projects, based at Platong field of
•Review of Contractor & Sub-Contractor project procedures are in accordance with Chevron Quality Systems, recognized national and international standards and contractual requirements.
•Ensure that Contractor & Sub-Contractor project procedure reflect the policies practices and objectives of Chevron and report on the adequacy of the Contractor & Sub-Contractor HES and Quality Systems.
•Planning and implementation of audits to ensure that the approved project procedures and specifications are implemented and complied with.
•Implementing and organizing the FE Frequent Inspection program.
•Review and approval of Contractor and Sub-Contractor Inspection and test procedure/ practices to ensure the effective and satisfactory completion of all works for the project.
•Provide a support network and assist in the establishment of project specific requirements for Quality.
•Approval of all Contractor QC related documentation and reports e.g. WPS; PQR; WPQT, Welding Inspection and NDE reports, miscellaneous Inspection reports for other activities performed during Construction activities.
•Guidance for NDT sub-contractors on QC issues.
•Random QC audit on RT radiograph for compliance.
•Responsible for review of the project quality records dossier.
•Consultation of best methods and practices for welding and NDT.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Qualifications (Education, Work Experience, English and Computer Skills)

•CSWIP 3.1 or equivalent welding inspector certification.
•Minimum 5 years knowledge of onshore/offshore structures.
•Minimum 5 years knowledge of materials for offshore structures.
•Minimum 5 year knowledge of all aspects of Non Destructive Examination (NDE).
•Minimum 5 year knowledge of all aspects of field coatings.
