The Company:
An Oil and Gas operator for a major Gas Plant project.

The Role:
We are looking for a QC Vendor & Third Part for an Operator position.
The service holder will have to:
- be the Focal point for all QC requisitions (Review QC requisitions and ensure compliance with ITP, certification and classification requirements)
- be in liaison with Surveillance Service Company (place/send SERVICE ORDER REQUEST to Surveillance Service Company)
- audit the Surveillance Service Company
- coordinate all the quality site inspections through the site QC inspectors of Surveillance Service Company
- coordinates classification and certification activities with the assigned Third Party Agencies and the Regulatory Bodies of the project base country
- ensure that all necessary quality records are identified and retained in accordance with client and regulatory requirements.
- verify that the quality related contractor (vendor, manufacturer) site activities are in accordance with the applicable codes and standards
- coordinate all receipts (orders, reports..) inspections received from Surveillance Service Company
- monitor and record all quality control related activities on the project concerning this activity
- report promptly to the Quality Control and assurance Managers all matters related to verification scheme performance and regulatory compliance.
- maintain the Quality file system – Surveillance
- review procurement documents to ensure that quality requirement have been correctly translated into purchase requisitions and design documents
- ensure all certification requirements are clearly identified, understood and included with the requisition and PO.
- work with Quality Control Manager, Quality Assurance Coordinator and the Project Management Team
- be fully familiar with the requisition requirements and equipment/material specifications and the verification and inspection release processes and ensure their compliance.
- provide regular reports on licenses/permits/consents/classification/certification, progress and look ahead
- ensure that vendor/subcontractor documentation complies with statutory regulations requirements
- ensure that mechanical completion handover packages are in line with the relevant project procedures
- coordinate with the site construction manager on all quality control issues
- coordinate and chair the QA/QC site weekly meetings with the projects subcontractors QC personnel
- coordinate and assists as necessary with the companies discipline engineers for the resolution of technical discrepancies
- review supplier material certificates if required
- review supplier inspection procedures and personnel qualifications if required
- ensure the verification of documentation and certificates for materials purchased by vendors, compilation of vendor inspection assignments packages
- control all achieves documentation upon the completion of the project.
- adherence to all applicable project safety procedures and active participation in all company/project safety initiatives

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
- Degree (or equivalent) educated as a minimum in a related engineering subject, preferably a trained quality auditor
- Significant QA/QC experience essential and should have exposure to at least two of the following: piping, pressure vessels, equipment rotating and static, storage tanks and pipelines
- Familiar with International codes & regulatory requirements including ASME, API, ASTM, NACE, EN/ISO
- Ensure to perform as motivated, team oriented self-starter with excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Assist departments in the development of compliance specifications for the industrial products.
- Ensure supplier components and products are certified to latest industrial standards.
- General understanding of technical documents and understanding e.g. P&ID’s, Process Flow Diagrams, Cause & Effects, Risk Assessments, ignition hazard analysis etc.
