The Role:
Principal accountabilities
Main Role:
Contribute to safe working practices and safety improvements
Comply with Company HSE Golden Rules
Provide QCS during fabrication, installation, painting/coating activities and Pre-Commissioning activities.
Carry out On-site verification of the E&I Discipline Inspection Test Record (ITR’s) - Types A & B, completed by the EPC contractor, and check quality of the document. Issue NCR where applicable.
Approve Mechanical Completion (E&I) Discipline Acceptance Certificate (MC DAC)
Approve Pre-commissioning (E&I) Discipline Acceptance Certificate (PC DAC)
Manage the preparation and disposition of contractor / company NCR.
Monitor the close out of any E&I construction NCRs, TQ and Punch list (PL) or outstanding work list (OWL).
Witness SIT/SAT as may be required.
Be involved in audits and project health checks.
Being part of the responsible party on the mechanical completion management process.

Secondary Role:
Attend QA/QC progress meetings.
Ensure that the manufacturing QC data packages are completed and delivered in accordance with the contractual requirements including the specific inspection details

Main Contacts
Construction Site Representatives, Main Contractor Quality Representatives, Project QA/QC Lead & PQE

Required HND or BSP approved equivalent qualification in Electrical / Instrumentation Engineering, or related discipline
Preferred HND or Company approved equivalent qualification in Mechanical/Construction Engineering

Minimum of 7 years experience in the oil and gas industry (both onshore and offshore) in construction, inspection, quality assurance, quality control, mechanical completion, pre-commissioning and certification as applied to onshore construction and offshore installation maintenance contracts
Internal Audit experience
Be fully familiar with international codes of practice related to the design, fabrication and maintenance on statutory equipment
Sound knowledge of Electrical/ Instrumentation Construction and Outfitting practices including Testing of E+I Cables, Loop Testing and Pressure Testing of Field Installed Instruments (as applicable)Be competent and experienced in Technical Report writing
Good in both spoken and written English.
Experience in using PC and MS-Word/Excel software.
Full understanding of HSE management principles and its application in Company / BSP
Working Knowledge of all relevant BSP HSE regulations including procedures and instructions

Coaching for performance
