The Company:
Our client is an Engineering Services company, who are an international technical consultancy, providing a range of services including licence to operate, asset management, manufacturing improvement and capital investment to customers in the chemical, petrochemical, oil & gas, pharmaceutical, manufacturing and consumer industries worldwide

The Role:
• Provide QHSE support to Head Office function
• Collation and reporting of Accident statistics for the Head Office Function.
• Implementation of OHSAS 18001 for the Head Office Function.
• Analysis of QHSE data and development of action plans to address issues identified.
• Conduct post incident investigations down to root cause level and produce thorough written reports.
• Input to the development and continuous improvement of the companies QHSE systems.
• Engage with CDM projects for the company during building redevelopment and new building.
• Actively promote a positive SHE culture: lead by example, coach and promote SHE awareness to staff at all levels, encourage open reporting and adoption of safe behaviours.
• Will support the Sustainability Co-ordinator on QHSE matters/projects.
• Will Represent the UK company in support of non UK BUs engaging in activities in the UK promoting the companies core principles
• Creation of QHSE manual, procedures and safe systems of work for the Head office and UK.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• QHSE professional with broad experience.
• Nationally recognized QHSE qualifications e.g. NEBOSH Diploma, Nottingham Trent Diploma
• Proven track record of Energy Saving Projects and experience with CRC.
• Strong communication skills with ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the workforce, especially to Senior management.
• Computer literate & proficient IT skills
• Member of a relevant professional body
• Experience of implementation/maintaining of OHSAS 18001, ISO 14001 and ISO 9001
• Engineering (Elec/Mech) background and/or Qualification.
• Strong collaboration & team working skills
