The Company:
A rapidly growing global mechanical engineering company, providing mechanical solutions to the oil, gas, petrochemical, military and general industries.

The Role:
1. Lead, mange and deliver QHSE projects across our Australian operation.
2. Develop and implement audit programmes and driving corrective actions.
3. Reporting and managing internal and client interactions and reporting
4. Champion environmental compliance onshore and offshore
5. Identify health and safety needs, structures, systems to enable business growth and delivery
6. Maintain Australian QHSE certification
7. Deliver QHSE projects on budget and time
8. Support and provide QHSE expertise for business development
9. Liaise and maintain relationships and networks with statutory and professional bodies
10. Provide advice, expertise and guidance on QHSE matters across a geographically diverse company with multiple business lines

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Tertiary qualifications in health and safety and/or a certificate IV Occupational Health and Safety
• Knowledgeable on the ISO 9001, 14001 and OHSAS 18001 standards
• Experience of risk and incident management
• Experience of conducting, managing and scheduling internal and external audits
• Ideally Offshore Oil & Gas, heavy industry or contracting exposure
