The Company:
Large oil and gas company is looking for a QUALITY ADVISOR.

The Role:
· Advises and informs Projects Quality Lead with issues, status and metrics.
· Ensure establishment and proper implementation of adequate control processes within the Projects Team, as stipulated in the Project Plan and the Project Quality Plan.
· Participate in audits within company Contractors
· Perform scheduled periodic Assessments of the Contractor's activities in order to evaluate and monitor implementation of Contractor’s quality management systems.
· Assist in the development & mechanical testing of welding procedures at Contractor’s facilities
· Support Construction Site Supervisors and Operations with quality issues.
· Develop and implement ITPs, quality procedures as dictated by “Projects Team”
· Review and approval of Contractor(s) DFO documentation
· Witness testing as stipulated in Contractor ITPs.
· Conduct Surveillance inspection ensuring Contractor and SNGT Quality personnel oversee and implement the Quality system and inspections in accordance with company specifications during Fabrication and Construction phases
· Assist in resolving Contractor RFI , queries, AKTS & sign offs when required.
· Liaison with site 3rd Party agencies (Technicome) and assist with resolution of issues raised.
· Provide weekly reports to Quality Lead.
· Review and, when necessary, assist in development of the Quality portion of site close-out reports and contractor’s documentation deliverables.
· Attend contractor meetings
· Periodic site(s) visit to ensure Contractor’s compliance.
· Ensure previous lessons learned are reviewed and that new lessons learned are identified.
· Actively ensure company’s Quality objectives are understood and implemented through out the organization.
· Promote a one team approach with Contractors and assist proactively in achieving compliance.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Preferred Experience and Qualifications:
· At least 10 years’ experience in a Quality role
· Knowledge with Engineering and Procurement processes with a EPCm Contractor
· Good knowledge of management systems including ISO 9001:2008 and its application to projects
· Completion of a recognized Auditor training course and Audit experience
· Problem solving and analytical
· Familiar with fabrication and inspection processes and suitably qualified in NDT Techniques
· A “Safety First” approach to all office and site working environments
· Degree or Industry equivalent experience in QMS role or Engineering aspect.
