The Company:
With operations across the world, our client uses innovation and technology to deliver energy to a growing world. They are currently leading an integrated LNG Project in PNG that includes gas production and processing facilities including liquefaction and storage facilities

The Role:
Reporting to the Quality and Project manager as Quality Assurance Coordinator (QAC) you will perform Quality management activities based in Longford, Victoria, Australia on a Long term Contract basis and will promote quality awareness throughout the project.

Daily responsibilities will include:
- Reporting on quality management issues to the PMT
- Review and approval of contractor’s procedures and plans.
- Provide Quality Training when required
- Reviewing and assisting in the development of quality portion site close-out reports
- Ensure establishment and proper implementation of adequate control processes within the subproject PT, as stipulated in the Project Plan and the Project Quality Plan
- You will also be responsible for the development and coordination of the Audit schedule which will encompass conducting site audits within the Sub-projects and also assisting the Quality Manager in conducting Project Audits.

You will provide over site of Contractor's Implementation of their Quality Program and Compliance with project requirements including;
- Ensure Contractor is performing quality reporting as per the contract
- Review Quality Plan of Suppliers of critical equipment / material in conjunction with PQC
- Monitor and audit implementation of PT Procurement and Construction Surveillance Programs
- Review and approve quality plans and inspection and test plans

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Bachelor or Associate degree in Engineering or Science is preferred
• Vast experience in responsible roles in Quality Management and coordination of quality activities for projects of various facilities in the Oil and Gas Industry
• Solid experience in management of project quality systems
• Extensive experience with auditing quality management systems
• Worldwide experience with Contractors and Suppliers involved in production facilities projects
• Experience working in client role on major production facilities projects is preferred
• Qualification / certification in auditing and in inspection disciplines is preferred
• Must be proficient in common PC software (MS Word, MS Excel, etc)
• The ability to read, write and speak fluent English with strong management, leadership and communication skills

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
*** The ability and flexibility to travel is essential - this position may be Business travel to until Q1 2013 then move to a location in Asia or Western Australia for the remainder of the assignment ***
