The Company:

The Role:
This position will support the running of existing and future PS assurance processes and Global Support to the Project Services community. The position has an active role to improve capital project performance by helping ensure PS compliance with mandatory standards through Quality and Global Support regional activities.
• Establish and lead Quality Assurance support for the Project Services regional assurance activities.
• Support PS Management System and new internal audit / assurance program to assure consistent and effective delivery in accordance with mandatory standards, and work processes.
• Assurance focal point for monthly communication and analysis of organization and discipline KPIs.
• Analyze Assurance (Project and Process) results through trending, formal look backs, and study groups.
• Ensure sustainment of the Standards, Guides, Tools, and Procedures through continuous improvement. Maintain and update applicable documents and tools when quality or consistency gaps are found.
• Ongoing guidance and support to the Cost Engineers working in Operator project teams at locations within Region, being part of the local cost engineering support team. Regarded as expert in Cost Tools rolled out to community.
• Support the development of the cost management toolkit and related processes for upstream/downstream projects and portfolios.
• Performs a variety of tasks with minimal day to day supervision. Has begun to demonstrate some breadth in applying skills to different project phases and / or acquiring experience in other related disciplines.
• Provide user training and support (QA & GS), including problem analysis and resolution.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Requires a bachelor’s degree in relevant technical field
• minimum 5-years oil and gas experience in project controls / cost engineering / quality assurance positions, preferably with former Operator experience
• Experience with upstream and downstream assignments
• Candidate should be a self starter, have a proactive approach & passion towards building sustainable, standardized and robust processes
• Strong communication skills (both oral and written) and Facilitation skills (team work and team building)
