The Company:
Our client is vertically integrated and is active in every area of the oil and gas industry, including exploration and production, refining, distribution and marketing, petrochemicals, power generation and trading. It has minor renewable energy activities in the form of biofuels. It has operations in over 90 countries, produces around 3.1 million barrels of oil equivalent per day and has 44,000 service stations worldwide.

The Role:
Familiar with most of discipline's concepts, practices, and procedures.
Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
Performs a variety of complicated tasks while effectively managing the interfaces.
May lead and direct the work of others.
Demonstrate breadth in applying skills to different project phases and working knowledge / experience in other related disciplines.
Resolves highly complex technical issues and provides technical assurance in areas of discipline expertise.
A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Typically reports to supervisor or manager.

Provide QA support and advice to the study, front end engineering, detailed design, construction support and project management work being undertaken by teams at the Project Design Office.
Support the maintenence of the QMS
Champion implementation of corporate requirements
Coordinate development of the Project Controls and Assurance Plans
Identify quality risks
Input to development of audit schedules and discipline checks
Provision of quality input to invitations to Tender and Contracts
Contribute to the development of execution contracting strategies that complement designs, construction methods and operating methods
Monitor and report project quality metrics, action any under-performing metrics

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Relevant experience in a similar role
Relevant experience in the Oil & Gas or Petrochemical industry, or major engineering project is preferred
Engineering degree or equivalent
