The Company:
Leading Nuclear Decommissioning Consultancy with offices throughout the UK. They are a major supplier to the nuclear industry working on a variety of projects for different sites.

The Role:
The role exists in order to provide for the management of project quality arrangements across all aspects of the project lifecycle covering both internal and external activities.
The Project Quality Assurance Engineer is responsible for ensuring that project audit activities are undertaken to establish the implementation status of the above arrangements and the reporting of such information.
The Project Quality Assurance Engineer will also undertake specific activities on behalf of the Assurance function as required.

• Implementing and managing project quality arrangements.
• Advising on all aspects of quality management on projects, including risks and issues.
• Developing and maintaining excellent relationships with both internal and external Customers.
• Establishing effective communication channels with Customers (internal and external) and Suppliers
• Implementing appropriate auditing arrangements within the project, both internally and externally (e.g. Suppliers).
• Provide man hour/cost estimates as part of the quality input to bids / tenders and when requested provide estimates to complete to the Project Manager.
• Participation in project meetings and contract review / handover meetings.
• Supporting the project team in managing and closing out quality non conformances / issues.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Good working knowledge of the Nuclear industry.
• Good working knowledge of all relevant regulations and legislation.
• Good working knowledge of the Customers quality requirements
• Good working knowledge and application of ISO 9001.
