The Company:
World leading oil and gas operator.

The Role:
1. Support development and implementation of Project Quality Delivery Plan (overall integration of all project quality related processes (as per quality triangle, i.e. technical quality assurance, construction quality, fabrication quality, ITPs, inspection, lessons learned, quality incident reporting & alerts, etc.)
2. Responsible for quality processes and practices (global processes and best practices). This includes guidance in the implementation of the requirements defined within PS / PG 13 and the quality DEP
3. Support development and implementation of Project Quality Management Systems
4. Provision of QA/QC training (for quality people as well as project managers and project engineers)
5. Provide quality input to project plans, risk register, and technical specifications
6. Support the Project Quality Management Review
7. Support the Project quality health checks - owner of the process / continuous improvement and available for conducting the assessments
8. Support development and implementation of Project Quality Plans (PQP) which also includes integration of DCAF, TIV, Lessons Learned and Flawless Project Delivery
9. Participation in the first contact meetings - focus on OAP integration with PCAP
10. Support Development of PCAPs for projects or “Technical Assurance Plans” (if PCAP is not applicable), either directly or providing assistance
11. Support DCAF implementation including KPI (% Complete) monitoring and best practices plus theme replication - best practices includes IM system flow for tracking of PCAP deliverables
12. Compliance with PCAP and technical assurance of controls - this would include PCAP auditing and working with TAs to ensure compliance with their Discipline standards and Discipline Delivery Plans
13. Working with regional TAs on PCAP utilization and PCAP improvements
14. Participation in the DCAF network meetings which are chaired by Project and Value assurance
15. Participate in planning and ensure implementation of TIV
16. Develop with Operations Excellence Flawless Project Delivery/Lessons Learned and manage mitigation
17. Support the quality requirements in contracts and tendering process. This includes conducting evaluation and assessment of quality elements, clarification with bidders and on site evaluation (if required)
18. Support monitoring of project quality KPIs and reporting of project quality performance
19. Participation in PARs, VARs and PERs (similar as under Technical Integration, however as part of independent Assurance team)
20. Leading or participating in quality incident & failure investigations (RCAs/causal learning)
21. Collation of lessons learned/quality alerts and dissemination into the quality networks and project communities
22. Development and management of mitigation actions required for Lessons learned and flaws
23. Development and implementation of audit and review program (this includes vendor, construction / module fabricator assessments) including execution and monitoring the close out of audit findings.
24. Support audits on design and technical assurance processes (includes design offices / EPCs)

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Topside systems quality assurance experience
Civil/Marine quality assurance experience
Hull/Topside Structures quality assurance experience


1. Bachelor of Science in Engineering or equivalent
2. 5 years of experience in the oil and gas industry
3. Experience with quality systems
4. Experience in one of the engineering disciplines is preferred
5. Prior project management processes and controls experience in a quality role
6. Experience in project design, procurement, and construction engineering principles and practices
7. Experience in application of project assurance practices such as technical assurance controls, project health-checks, Flawless Project Delivery, benchmarking (IPA)
8. Experience working with HSE management standards and guidelines, contract holder management requirements and general regulatory regimes including familiarity with Classification schemes
